This strip just cracks me up. Classic comic humor. Set up, silent beat, punchline. I love this strip.
Everything, even trash cans, is better with bacon.
We’re getting close to the end of this epic tale, Lifers! The current plan is to go 150 strips, a nice round number (perfect for a book? wink, wink), so you’re looking at just 23 more strips of “Bark To The Future”! I’ll be sad to see it end, I have had such fun drawing this great story.
Shout out and plug time. Are you going to the Pittsburgh Comicon this weekend? I’m not! Wish I were, because then I’d get to see the guys of Iconograph Studios, Chris Flick of Capes & Babes, Dan Nokes (VA Comicon small press liason) of 21st Century Sandshark Studios, AND our own Ben Taylor (and our buddy Matt), who you should be able to find at Iconograph’s table when he’s not wandering the floor having a blast. Have a great weekend, guys!

I can confirm that there’s always something good in the bottom of the rubbish bin.
You would know, Ced, you would know. Give Barry our best!
The timing ‘beat’ of the third panel is funny! .. It quickly goes from silent fear to relieving discovery of food, and with a smile in there I’m sure
Yeah, that 3rd silent panel often makes a great set up for the punch. I try not to use it too much, I’ve seen it overused in some comics.
