I was watching The Empire Strikes Back the other day (research!) and I noticed something strange; when Chewbacca goes nuts and starts chucking stormtroopers all over the place, Boba Fett raises his gun to blast him, and Darth Vader pushes the gun down. All I could think was…”what the hell? Why would Vader stop Fett from shooting some wookiee?” Yes, yes, I know I am a geek, this has been established. So I imagined what the conversation after that was like. I apologize to my readers who are not fans of Star Wars. The dogs will be back tomorrow!

Thanks!! It’s one of my favorites as well, definitely my favorite one to write, I think. That part of the scene always really bugged me, even as a kid. Why the heck would Vader stop Fett from shooting?! Well, now we know.
