This one is based on reality…the gate on our fence has a collection of things attached to it to keep Hunter from opening it.  The bungee cord is the first line of defense, and it worked great… for a couple of days.  I’m sure we’ll revisit this in the future, but I’m done with fences for now!  Speaking of fences, my wife Marlene did the chain link in panels two and three for me while I caught a quick nap before going to work an overnight then day shift double.  I have a lot of extra shifts coming up over the next couple of weeks, plus “Bark To The Future” prep, so next week is going to be pretty light, comic wise.  I’ve got one strip I drew a couple of months ago, a “Reel Life Tails” by Hunter (which takes me 10 minutes to draw), and my rejected Style Weekly comic all set for next week, giving me time to work, prep the book, and maybe even sleep a little!

Speaking of the “Bark To The Future” book, we’re a little over 25% raised of the goal, thanks to some wonderful friends and their generosity.  We have just a couple of weeks left, and I am confident we will not only reach the goal, but surpass it!  You can get cool stuff, like your name on a “Thank You” page, a print of the cover, original comic art, and, of course, a copy of the book!  Check out the campaign by clicking here, or on the box over on the left.

Thank you for supporting me and this crazy dream!!!
